Basel 2008: Ebel Discovery Chronograph Watch Shown In New Color Combinations

For 2008, the Ebel Discovery Chronograph watch is available in provocative new variations whose bold, appealing colors emphasize youthful energy, sportiness, and dynamism.  Presented in stainless steel, these Discovery Chronograph models share in common the feature of a 43mm hexagonal case, a tachymeter bezel, and Ebel's superb attention to finishing detail.  The movement is a self-winding COSC chronometer which offers day and date displays in addition to a chronograph with 12-hour and 30-minute counters.  

The Ebel Discovery Chronograph is presented in four new variations.  Most subtle perhaps, is the version with silver dial, and blue tachymeter bezel.  A red bezel is teamed up with a black dial to offer another attractive option; both of these versions are united with the intricately finished Ebel stainless steel bracelet, which is joined securely to its owners wrist via a triple-deployant folding clasp.  The most casual, purely sporty variation features a black dial in concert with an orange bezel; orange stitching also accents the black technofiber strap.  On all three models, the chronograph subdial hands are coordinated in blue, red, or orange to match the dominant color scheme of the model.

The stylish Ebel Discovery Chronograph is well suited to sports usage.  Crown and pushpieces both screw down, ensuring the security of the 100m water resistance rating.  An anti-reflective treated sapphire crystal optimizes legibility of the dial, which is accentuated by luminous applications on the hands, hour indices and dial flange.
